ARIZONA SELECT BASEBALL
Arizona Select Baseball is an organization designed to develop both youth and high school players both on and off the field. We compete in some of the best tournaments, at the highest levels in the country, giving us the opportunity to have our players seen and compete in front of as many collegiate and professional scouts as possible.
Our Beginning’s…..
Since the inception of Arizona Select Baseball teams in 2016, our teams were started with the goal of developing youth baseball players through quality instruction and coaching. As the original team players have grown up and many of the original players are getting ready to graduate (Class of 2022), many of them have committed to play baseball at the next level, reaching their dreams. Many of the players from the original teams went on to play for the Los Angeles Angels Scout academy organization and the Arizona Diamondbacks Youth Academy teams, and when the COVID pandemic closed the academies. With the players development and the need to get back on the field, the teams returned to their Arizona Select beginnings and re-establish themselves as one of the top programs in the state of Arizona. During the fall of 2020 and the summer of 2021, our two teams compromised of the most elite players in the State of Arizona, we teamed up and played with US Elite Baseball, which was one of the most respected and elite programs in the country at that time. With our Arizona Select teams playing in the country’s top showcases and tournaments in the country, we brought a new level of respect and attention to the talent within Arizona, earning invitations to play in the best and most respected elite tournaments and showcases in the country. The US Elite Arizona/Arizona Select teams have established themselves as one of the most respected organizations not only in the country, but the state of Arizona.
Instruction and Player Development
The goal of the organization is to help our players to develop not only their baseball skills but their life skills. The developmental process can be different for every player, and our coaching staff focuses on identifying those elements and helping each player to be the best person that they can be. We accomplish that by ensuring that each player is treated as an individual and is given instruction by quality instructors who not only know the game, but know how to teach it. Our coaches are some of the best not only in the state of Arizona, but in all of youth baseball. We have coaches that have both played and coached at the professional and collegiate levels. All of our coaches have an outstanding baseball background, are outstanding leaders and have a true passion to helping players develop both on and off the field.
Player Recruitment
As a player with Arizona Select, we work with our players and their families to expose them to the college recruiting process. We work closely with college recruiting coordinators, minor league and professional scouts. Our coaching staff has experience and knowledge in getting players to the next level of baseball. Through our staffs experience, countless hours of talking and consulting with collegiate and professional scouts, we have developed one of the best developmental and recruiting programs in the country.
Our schedule is one of the best in the country…..
Our schedules are some of the best in the west coast, with our teams competing in some of the best showcase tournaments in the country. Our schedules are designed to go out and play against the best levels of competition, with our players development in mind. Not all players are ready to play a National or Elite level schedule and we are very aware of that, which is why we have teams that play both at a local and a national level. Our goals as an organization are not measured in wins and losses, but are measured by how our players develop and how many players we help on to move to the next level, not only as student athletes, but as members of the perspective communities.
As our players develop and they grow, we work with them to get them the best exposure possible to showcase their skills and abilities, as we help them throughout their recruiting process.
