Collegiate Teams

US Elite Arizona / Arizona Select Collegiate Wood bat teams will have two teams playing in the Arizona Collegiate Wood Bat League ( www.azsummerball.com ) this summer. The league usually starts in mid-June and will run through the first Week of August. All the games are played at the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale and the all new Legacy Sports complex in Queen Creek, Az.

The league will have a schedule that will have around 25 guaranteed games, that will be played in the evenings, Monday – Friday. The schedule will consist of weekly games, with the team playing 3-4 games per week. At the end of the regular season, there will be a championship tourney that will consist of a single-elimination bracket tournament. All games will consist of 7 inning games, to ensure that we do all that we can to help prevent player injuries and try and keep our players health in mind as they are playing in one of the highest level and competitive Collegiate leagues in the country.  

All players that sign up and participate in our summer program, will be allowed access to our private hitting facility located in the city of Mesa, Az, at no additional cost. Our hitting facility has 50 ft long full-size cages, with a self-feeding pitching machine, and a full-size bullpen area. This is not a public batting cage, so you are not up against a bunch of other teams or players trying to get into a cage and get some hitting in. This is our own private AIR-CONDITIONED facility (that’s huge during the Arizona summers), where you will be there with your teammates only. Last summer a lot of the players would come in and get their pre-game stretching and hitting in the cage and then head out to the games.

Our team fees for the summer will be a total of $950 for position players, and $200 for PO’s.  The team fees will cover the complete cost of the summer season, which will cover the cost of the league, uniforms, and access to the Arizona Elite Training Facility.  For position players, you will have the option to pay a deposit of $500 to secure your spot when you sign up for the team, and the balance of $450 due no later than June 1, 2022. You can choose to pay the amount in Full, at the time you sign up.

This is a summer developmental league and for that reason we will NOT be loading our rosters with 40 – 50 players and having guys just sitting on the bench. We are going to limit the number of players we have at each position, so that EVERYONE has sufficient playing time, and gets the most out of playing in the Summer League. We could care less about the wins and losses, and care more about you getting the reps and development you are looking for as a part of the League. The wins will come along with the development of the team.
